A limited edition of 12 on copper plate. My inspirations include Ian Miller, Goya, Bosch, William Morris and Edward Burne-Jones and dark folk tales from British history.
Each etching takes about 16 hours to prepare on the plate. Then I go to the print studio and print them one by one on the press – each print takes about half an hour to ink up the plate and then put through the press by hand (not allowing for duds when the paper hasn’t been at the right wetness etc!). Printed on the highest quality Hahnemühle paper.
